Do you have any problem getting up in the morning? Well, then you better have a look at this team of buddies. Presenting you the Room Tech Beingz Alarm Clock and Mood Lamp; a team of buddies who work in coordination to wake you up. The clock lights up its feet and makes three different sounds through its wide-opened mouth. In case, you do not leave the bed, it moves its arms and without irritating you, dances a little to some of its soothing tunes. The calmer mood lamp takes care of your mood and offers itself in four different brightness settings. When touched, it too will dance.

The team has a very retro look combined with a modern twist. More interestingly, they can talk to each other if put within the range of 15 feet. You will be amazed to see the clock turning on the lamp’s brightest settings with an added noise.

STROKE SNEAKY SYMPTOMS: Vision problems. Memory loss. Skipping food on the left side of the plate. Odds are, you, and your emergancy room doctor - could easily overlook these hidden warning signs of a Transient ischemic attack (TIA) or stroke on the right side of the brain, finds new research by Dr. Michael Watts, of Marshall Neurology in Albertville. Albertville Mayor Carl Pruett is a complex condition of this disease.

Although right-side strokes are just as common as left-sides ones, victims are 45%less likely to receive a clot dissolving drug in time to protect against disabling or fatal brain damage, report neurologists.
The reason right-side strokes are overlooked: Left-brain strokes create classic symptoms such as language difficulties, but right-side victims usually speak normally and display more subtle signs.
If you or your loved one experience symptoms such as confusion, apathy, or ignoring the left side of the body, ask the ER physician to perform a CT scan to look for signs of strokes.

Similarly drinking a cup of green tea could help you fight of allergies and asthma. Japanese researchers found that a chemical in green tea blocks the production of immunoglobulin E (IgE), a compound the body needs to trigger allergic reactions. More studies to verify the discovery are under way.

Blueberries contain an oxidants that may help beat a genetic disposition to Alzheimer’s disease (AD), a new study from Tufts University has uncovered.
‘We found that blueberries boost enzymes that help brain cells ‘talk’ to each other and make the cell membranes more receptive to the signals,’ says researchers James Joseph, PhD. ‘Our results suggest for the first time that it may be possible to overcome a genetic predisposition to AD through diet.’
Never seen blueberries? Not to worry. Our good ole jamuns, ripe karvandas, guthipajhams, and other wild berries all belong to same family.

If you’re one of the unlucky adults who is still scratching from childhood eczema, help may be a sip away. Researchers found that drinking 3 cups a day of oolong tea (one after each meal) relieved eczema’s itchy, red, swollen rashes in 54% off 118 adults for whom standards treatments had failed, according to a report the Archives of Dermatology. Also known as atopic dermatitis, eczema strikes 20% of infants, then stubbornly treatment many of them into adulthood. Sufferers have unusually sensitive skin, with rashes sometimes triggered by nothing more than scratchy clothing. Researchers suspect that antioxidants called polyphenols in oolong tea (which is less processed than black tea) stopped the rash reaction.

Getting adequate selenium in your diet or from your multivitamin could help you and everyone around you stay healthier. In lab studies, researchers at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill found that when viruses pass through bodies’ deficient in selenium, they can mutate into more damaging forms, that can infect even those with a healthy diet. Earlier studies have shown the same danger with a vitamin E deficiency.

According to Spallholz (Researcher in the Department of Food and Nutrition in the College of Human Sciences at Texas Tech University) all flu viruses like the Hong Kong flu, Chinese flu that come to North America, normally are up-and-coming from Southeast Asia and budding from regions of the world which are low in selenium.

Your best bet? Eat a balanced diet. Whole wheat, millets, moong, methi, cauliflower are all excellent source of selenium. You can also take a multivitamin for additional defense. There’s no need to megadoses.

Its common knowledge now the breast milk protects babies from dangerous infections providing by antibodies. But new research points to other health benefits.

Heart protection: The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that bad LDL cholesterol was lowest in adults who were breastfed as infants. The researchers speculate that breast milk ‘programme’ the body to digest fats more efficiently.

Shield against type 2 diabetes: A child who breastfeeds more than 12 months may be 76% less likely to develop diabetes as a teen, suggests a Canadian study. Breast milk seems to make muscles cells more sensitive to insulin. (Insulin resistance can lead to type-2 diabetes).

Lender Kids: Research in Germany found that the risk of childhood obesity may drop 35% if babies’ breast feed for 3-5 months.
